East Midlands
surveyors pioneer new US property web service
Hodgson Elkington, the East Midlands chartered
surveyors have taken web based property services
in a new direction with the launch of www.recyber.info.
American property marketing techniques and
best practice are now being delivered to a
UK audience through this new web site which
has been set up in collaboration with the
American Real Estate Cyberspace Society (RECS).
RECS offers a host of free resources for
the property industry including presentations
and briefings from top US real estate professionals
and IT experts.
Members of the Society additionally get their
own personal web site hosted at recyber.com,
regular newsletters and audio cassettes with
internet briefings from the experts.
Hodgson Elkington is promoting RECS as a
training resource. Partner Chris Hodgson said
"the Society's audio cassettes are the
best resource we have come across for people
in the UK property industry looking to develop
internet marketing skills. A great deal of
what is now common practice in America will
cross the Atlantic and find its place in the
UK property industry - why try and re-invent
the wheel?"
Chartered surveyors with a special interest
in information technology will probably find
these cassettes and the Society's service
a great way of adding to their continuing
professional development, according to Hodgson
Elkington.
