for junior sportsman

Hodgson Elkington have included individual
sponsorships in the 2003 Junior Sports Programme.
Rowing kit has been provided for Andrew Haigh,
a pupil of St. Paul's
who was selected in April to row for Great Britain in the VIII at the 2002 Munich
Junior International Regatta.
Andrew is Captain of Boats for his school.
His first main competition in 2003 was the
Schools Head of the River which the 1st
VIII won by a margin of 11 seconds. Later that month, he travelled to Belgium
to compete in the Ghent International Regatta, participating in the Junior
Pairs, Junior Fours and the Men’s Open VIII category with a win in the Pairs.
He was selected again to row for Great Britain
in the 2003 Munich Junior Regatta where he
won a bronze medal. He hopes to see his school’s
1st VIII win the infamous Schools’ Triple

National Schools and Henley Regattas. After
Henley, there will be final trials for selection
of the Great Britain team at the Junior World
Rowing Championships.
