July opening
for new pub
Work has begun on a new late night bar by
Lincoln’s Brayford Pool.
Pub firm JD Wetherspoon announced that it
had been granted a late licence for the new £1
million venue.
The Lloyds No1 bar is on schedule to open
on July 27. The Lloyds No1 bars are different for the
standard Wetherspoon pubs because they play
music and encourage a party atmosphere.
“The opening of the new bar will create
between 35 and 40 full and part-time jobs,” said
Eddie Gershon spokesman for JD Wetherspoon.
