New partner
appointment
Tim Shaw at Pinfold Business Park, Stapleford,
Nottingham.
Lincoln Chartered Surveyors, Hodgson Elkington & Co,
have just announced the appointment of
a new partner, Tim Shaw.
Tim Shaw is a Chartered Surveyor and has
an honours degree in Estate Management from
the University of Northumbria at Newcatle.
He has experience of surveying work in London,
Newark and Nottingham. More recently he has
worked at Hodgson Elkington in Lincoln where
he deals primarily with commercial property
management matters, specialising in the settlement
of rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidation
claims on the part of both landlords and
tenants and the acquisition of investment
portfolios. In addition, Tim Shaw is
also the firm's specialist in relation to
Party Wall Award matters.
Tim Shaw comments; “Whilst at Hodgson Elkington
I have enjoyed a varied workload involving
both existing and new clients of the firm.
I feel fortunate to be involved in the Lincoln
property market at a time when the city is
growing with tremendous vitality.”
Tim has also been successful in developing
the partnership business in Nottinghamshire.
On behalf of overseas clients he recently
acquired the Pinfold Business Park, a business
park located close to the M1 at Stapleford,
Nottingham. He will now be involved in arranging
for it to be upgraded to provide a mix of
industrial and office units.”
Chris Hodgson, the firm's Senior Partner,
is pleased to have Tim Shaw as a new Partner
in the firm and comments that the appointment
and will increase the firms range of
technical and professional skills and
improve the firm's ability to offer a comprehensive
commercial property service throughout the
East Midlands.
Tim Shaw lives locally in Newark with a
young family. Outside works he is looking
forward to a competitive year of National
and International Hovercraft Racing, racing
in the 2004 Formula 503 Championship.
